Everything in the Universe, including us, is made of energy. Energy is alive; it is present in the air we breathe in. We are made of energy that connects us to each other, to our past and even to our future. Energy is nothing but subtle vibrations- ever experience how a place gives us a bad vibe or, how, after meeting a friend, we feel so good? Thus, our thoughts, emotions and feelings are all connected to this energy around us. When we raise the vibrations within us, we can raise our energy and go on to live much more meaningful lives. The external world also begins to reflect the same loving feelings we cultivate within us so we get to experience a life beyond our wildest dreams. Raising your vibration can help in every aspect of life be it money matters, relationships, health and so on. So let us discuss some easy ways to raise vibration:

1. Be grateful

Gratitude is a miracle. When we think about how much we have and all that we have been given, we instantly feel full. Seeing that our cup is not just full but overflowing can instantly raise vibrations. If you are feeling low, depressed or fatigued or plagued with problems, simply close your eyes momentarily and think about someone who loves you and whom you love deeply. You can even think of a pet or an object that you are grateful for. This is an easy way to change your vibration immediately.

2. Be kind

Love is the greatest part of all of us. We are love-love is not just a thought or a feeling. Our minds and hearts are made of love. And when we honor this natural loving state, we cannot but help speaking kindly to all those around us. You can start by being kind to yourself. Here are some positive affirmations to make daily in order to be kind and raise your vibration frequency:

  • I am kind to myself
  • Today I will find reasons to be kind to myself and those around me
  • I will offer myself the support I seek in others
  • Kind thoughts flow through my mind effortlessly.

3. Forgive

Forgiveness cannot come easily but it is the best way to raise your vibration. To forgive someone who has hurt you, you need to tell yourself that “I am not really hurt because nothing can tarnish my soul!” Choose not to be defined by the sadness or hurt of the situation. When thoughts of hurt, betrayal or anger arise, you have the power to choose loving thoughts instead.

4. Accept

When you accept yourself or your situation for way it is, then the blame, anger and hurt automatically go away. Similarly, when you accept others around you, you feel happier, motivated, empowered and whole. So accept yourself as a beautiful, kind, awesome human being who can manifest whatever s/he desires.

5. Get some sunshine

There is a reason why so many people in the cold countries suffer from seasonal depression. Natural sunlight is filled with tons of energy. So it makes sense that soaking some sunshine is the easiest way to raise our vibration. Spend at least 10 minutes in the sunshine daily, preferably the early morning sun. You can breathe in the sunlight deeply and imagine drawing it in your body filling up the core of your being.

6. Practice deep breathing exercises

Deep breathing exercises oxygenate every cell of our body to instantly raise our energy level and vibration. Every emotion and thought is connected to our breath. Notice how, when we feel angry, our breath comes out in short rapid bursts? Many cultures across the world believe that we all have a subtle life force energy called as Prana or Chi flowing in our bodies. You can easily raise this Prana by doing Pranayam or deep breathing exercises. Here are some simple exercises you can do at home or offie:

  • Sit in a quiet place. Close your eyes. Breathe in deeply to the count of 4, hold the breath to a count of 4 and let go of the breath slowly to a count of 6. Do three sets each.
  • Energizing bellow breaths or Bhastrika – this pranayama raises the energy level instantly. Do 15 breaths in sets of 3.

7. Walk in nature

The great outdoors is a wonderful place to be. From time to time, give gratitude to Mother Nature. Today, so many things are wrong with our planet. When you walk in Nature, ask yourself if you can do anything to correct this. Try feeding the birds, or cleaning up your local parks. Walking in Nature from time to time is another easy way to raise vibration and connect with the Spirit of this Mother.

8. Exercise

Exercise not only releases endorphins and feel good hormones; it also raises our vibration instantly. Without exercise, we become irritable, moody, and lethargic. So an instant way of raising vibration is to workout daily. You can also choose to swim, jog, brisk walk or do Yoga to raise vibration.

9. Smile and laugh more

Happiness is infectious. So smile and laugh more. Spread the joy and make others laugh. Surround yourself with people who make you laugh. Laughter and happiness can instantly raise your vibration to the divine.

10. Sing, dance, listen to music or get creative

Notice how, when the music changes, you change? Music is very powerful; simply listening to calming music after work can instantly uplift your mood. It can give you rest deeper than sleep by putting you in a meditative state. The same goes for singing and dancing. Sing in the shower, in the car or even a lullaby while you sleep. 11. Hug more often

Hugging is a great way of raising vibration. A hug indicates love, happiness, time spent with friends and loved ones, and even gratitude. Even cuddling and hugging a pet can raise vibration by instilling thoughts of love, joy and positivity.

12. Change your diet

Food plays an important role in changing your emotions. Energy levels are determined by what we eat. Notice how certain foods (fruits and vegetables) make us feel calmer as they raise our Prana and vibrations? On the other hand, notice how heavy foods like red meat, refined and deep fried foods make us feel drowsy, dull and constipated? So eat foods closest to their raw, whole state, and choose organic foods always. Include greens, fruits and nuts in your diet. Avoid cluttering your body with caffeine, alcohol, drugs, nicotine, pesticides and preservative laden foods.

Raising your vibration with these easy ways will take time and practice but the payoff will be awesome and soon you will receive guidance from the Universe.
