If there is a way then there must also be an Easy Way

Soothe a sore throat

A sore throat can really get you down, so here are a few things you can use to take away the suffering.

Believe it or not vinegar can ease the pain. Any type will do but wine vinegar or cider vinegar may taste better. Put a teaspoon of vinegar in a glass of water. Gargle, then swallow. Do this 3 times a day until things are on the mend.

If you do not fancy vinegar then you can try salt. Mind this may taste worse than the vinegar. Well if you are suffering then you will try anything right. Put some warm water in a glass and mix with some salt. Put in your mouth and gargle and spit out! Don't swallow!!! This should get rid of the soreness!

So I have still not convinced you. Well 'Nuts'! Honestly nuts will soothe a sore throat was well. Take a few almonds and mix them with a couple of teaspoons of honey. Sit down and eat away. This will give the pain of a sore throat nothing to moan about. Honey is a natural pain killer, so are almonds. The almonds will also help to relieve the inflammation.

Quite a few people have recommended nuts to me for sore throats. Even a sufferer of Strep. He swore by dry roasted peanuts. Well I am sure they tasted better than salt.

Having said all of that I personally use a mixture of glycerin and lemon and then take a couple of paracetamol tablets. You can either make a mixture of the juice of half a lemon to one cup of glycerin. Or like me buy it ready made from the local pharmacy.

If you are constantly suffering from a sore throat then you should look to the reasons why, rather than dealing with the symptoms. I have just given you information as to ways to soothe the pain and make life more bearable. If you are struggling on a long term basis, please, please seek medical advice. It is also said that eating raw garlic, raw onions, or even salty/spicy chips, and potent flavorings such as lemon, lemon oil, mint oil/extract, pepper, etc, can cause a sore throat

I hope that one of these ideas will bring you some relief
