Warts are a problem especially for teenagers for some reason. Maybe one day someone will enlighten me. Here are a few tips that have been sent into the site, followed by one I remember from school
-
Try taping a slice of garlic to the wart. Be sure to first protect the surrounding skin with petroleum jelly. Garlic is a wonderful creation, it can so many things. So I see no reason why this should not work.
-
Rub the wart with the inside of a banana skin. The inside of the banana contains potassium apparently and this will get rid of the wart.
-
Rub a cut onion on them and within a few weeks, they are completely gone!
-
Use tree tea oil. This can be found in some grocery stores. Put it on the affected area three times a day and you will see results in days. This has been reported as effective with warts on the hands.

Another treatment that has been proven effective in a respected medical journal is duct tape, yes the silver sticky fiberous tape that you buy in the hardware store. I'm not kidding, check New England Medical Journal yourself. Cut out a circle the same size as the wart, place over the wart for 3-4 days, remove for 1 day. Repeat this cycle 3-4 times, as long as it takes to remove the wart. I know it sounds crazy, the medical profession laughs about it also.

When I was young I once heard of the cure for warts where you get someone to buy the warts off you. Only a few pennies, apparently it works.
