If there is a way then there must also be an Easy Way

Clean crayon off walls.

Here are quite a few tips for removing crayon from your walls. Your course of action will depend on the surface of your wall. However I am sure you will find some information here that will make that crayon mark a thing of the past.

Spray with multipurpose lubricating oil (don't let it drip on the floor), you can put this on your rag and wipe the area instead of spraying the wall if you like. Then you can gently wipe, using a paper towel or clean white cloth the entire area that has been colored over.

If mark is stubborn, sprinkle a little baking soda on a damp sponge and gently rub in a circular motion. If lubricants residue remains, dampen a sponge with a solution of one or two drops of mild dish-washing liquid to one cup water. Squeeze out sponge and gently rub in a circular motion. Rinse sponge; lightly moisten with water to go over area; dry with a clean cloth.

Other things that you can use to remove crayon from walls are

  • Baby wipes. Simply rub the area with a baby wipe (no matter what the name brand) and you will be surprised at how quickly the crayon comes off the wall or wallpaper.
  • Goop Hand Cleaner. The oil base of this hand cleaner simply dissolves the crayon. Apply to the affected area and wipe the marks away. Goop is also known as Goo be gone.

You can get crayon off marlite, paneling, or some tougher type walls using a bit of toothpaste. Just don't use the gel type which is known to stain the wall areas - use the regular paste and a soft cloth to clean up crayon off the wall.
