Disinfect wood cutting boards


A wooden cutting board can be a bacteria's holiday home. I am sure they have a pool and Jacuzzi on mine some days.

So to clean and disinfect wood cutting boards. Wipe with full strength vinegar.

Another idea is if your cutting board smells like the garlic you chopped up yesterday? Use baking soda (bicarbonate of soda) to clean and deodorize your cutting boards because it is a food safe cleaner! Sprinkle baking soda on a damp sponge, scrub and rinse clean! Now you are all set to chop those onions!
